Big Green Event 2010

This is a day of stalls promoting sustainability and green issues, particularly in the local area. You may find ways to save money on your fuel bill or get tips on growing your own vegetables. There will be live music and stalls that include local organic producers, fair-trade, and eco friendly cleaning products.

This year a tent will host demonstrations and opportunities to participate in belly dancing, children’s crafts, and there will be talks from Dianne Hubbard, The National Trust and much, much more.

We are still looking for volunteers who can help marshal the field, make cakes for the tea shop, serve teas and coffees, and don't forget there is a baking and jam competition. So harvest your fruit and vegetables and be creative with your baking.
